This website that you will be linking to is maintained by NOAA. There is interesting data and information available for the Marine Sanctuary Shipwrecks. We encourage wreck preservation for future divers. If you are planning to wreck dive anywhere in the world and have not obtained proper training we encourage you to seek out an instructor and dive facility that has a focus in wreck training. Many hazards are inherent with wreck diving. Proper training and preparation are a necessity to being a safe and responsible diver. Northern California Oceans Foundation, NCOF is working with local agencies to promote the sinking of additional ship wrecks in Monterey Bay. Our support of NCOF and the mission to promote additional ship wrecks in the Monterey Bay Marine Sanctuary.
